Solid Gold SeaMeal is now yeast-free and has been re-formulated with flax seed meal, an excellent source of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids. It is thought that some dogs may be allergic to certain types of yeast, although often the exact type of yeast causing the allergy, is unknown. In order to eliminate this possible allergen, the brewers yeast (which is just one of more than twenty different types of yeast) was removed from our SeaMeal, and replaced with flax seed meal.

Often used for conditions such as hip dysplasia, bone and joint problems and soft tissue swellings. There are no fillers in this product, compared with other brands, which may contain less than 1 % actual yucca. Yucca has been awarded an FDA Food Classification (para 21 CFR 172 510).

Research from the National Arthritis Medical Center (reported in the Journal of Applied Nutrition) states that yucca extracts are effective for a number of types of arthritis. Pederson (1991) also cites research in which yucca has successfully been used for arthritis, rheumatism and related disorders. These conditions are thought to arise because of a buildup of toxins within the joints, and yucca works by helping to eliminate these toxins.

Our premium quality, unrefined flax seed oil is hexane-free. Hexane is a chemical solvent used by many manufacturers to extract the oil from the seed, and can be extremely allergic for dogs and cats. Solid Gold Flax Seed Oil is expeller-pressed to maintain levels of free fatty acids and protective, anti-oxidant nutrients. The health benefits of supplementation with flax seed oil for pets are numerous.

Flax seed oil is rich in Omega 3 and 6 Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) which are protective against degenerative disease and illness, including bone and joint problems, cancer, and cardiovascular, kidney and auto-immune disease. Bee pollen is exceptionally rich in amino acids and enzymes, which are vital for numerous functions within the body.

Bee pollen is excellent for inhalant (air borne) allergies which can cause runny eyes and nose in dogs and cats. It is also used to assist with some digestive problems such as diarrhea and colitis. Bee pollen is said to increase resistance to stress and disease and is wonderful for building up the immune system.

Digestive enzymes from an all-natural, plant source. D-Zymes facilitate the absorption of (or "unlock") the nutritional components within the diet. Enzymes are vitally important for numerous processes within the body and are found abundantly in raw foods. However, cooking destroys enzymes, so supplementation is advised for pets who consume cooked foods.

This product is intended for intermittent feeding and should not be used on a permanent, continuous basis. Behavioral problems should be dealt with through corrective training, and this Calmer can be used to aid that training.

Begin using Razz two weeks prior to breeding and continue until puppies or kittens are 6 weeks old. as they age.
